"Shock & Appall"

“Shock & Appall” represents a failed military effort in Iraq. An offensive once called Shock and Awe, which was intended to bring down an evil regime quickly, is now in its seventh year. The results are a country full of dead and wounded. The pool of blood continues to seep & bubble up from the wound of the assault. Small tiles are placed vertically in the background, like so many headstones.
