2010 Mosaic Arts International exhibition, in Chicago, March 2010.

"Summer Forest" and the untitled sculptural piece photographed left were published in artist Laurel Skye's beautiful new book, Mosaic Renaissance: Reviving Classic Tile Art with Millefiori, which was published 2009 by North Light Books.

2009 Contemporary Mosaic Arts exhibition at Ciel Gallery, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Origin” was selected for exhibition in the Society of American Mosaic Artists'
Mosaic Arts International 2009.
This annual juried show is known for showing innovative mosaic work from around the world.
  The 2009 exhibition was held at San Diego’s Museum of Man, February 28 – April 26, 2009.

A catalog was produced (available for purchase at the
SAMA store), along with a brief gallery guide.

Three of Virginia's recent works were selected for inclusion in artist/author Brit Hammer's newest book, Mosaic, finding your own voice, released in September 2008.  The three pieces selected were Origin, Soothing the Embers of my Soul, and All I See is Red.  Click on either photo or the title above to view those pages with Virginia's work.  The book is available for purchase at Blurb.






Three pieces were accepted into the grand opening show of Ciel Gallery in Charlotte, N.C.   The show, "Contemporary Art Mosaics", held throughout September 2008, was an international juried exhibition.
